Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre/Post Cath Lab - $32-48 per hour

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Focuses on pre‑ and post‑procedure care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educates patients and families on managing illness and post‑treatment home care, including medication administration.
  • Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participates in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
  • Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
  • Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
  • Maintains constant state of alertness and works safely; this is a safety‑sensitive position.
Minimum Requirements
  • RN license.
  • Education:

    Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
  • No prior experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Experience in emergency department or telemetry preferred.
