Cherokee Nation Federal Consulting (CNFC) is a tribal‑owned 8(a) company providing asset‑management support to federal clients. Our experienced team combines consulting, program management, and hands‑on operational expertise to deliver transparent, auditable services.
– Shift: 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday‑Friday.
Responsibilities- Perform original entry and/or data verification of Information Returns in the SCRIPS system; transcribe information into a computer program.
- Enter data into inventory‑tracking systems and update entity changes (e.g., name and address).
- Process requests for products such as transcripts, using automated system tools.
- Conduct general clerical tasks: filing, sorting, batching, and grouping documents.
- Retrieve, stamp, and associate documents with existing files.
- Prepare documents for scanning, removing staples and repairing damage.
- Set up paper tax returns for numbering and transcription, including pen‑and‑ink changes.
- Execute other job‑related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma.
- At least one year of clerical, office, or related work experience.
- Type 25 words per minute; proficient in ten‑key entry.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Maintain organized records and files.
- Good organizational and communicative skills.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions; seek clarification when needed.
- Meet federal regulations regarding tax compliance, background checks, and identification procedures.
- Primarily performed in a climate‑controlled office setting.
- Swing shift with pay differential.
