The Admissions Office provides support to students, faculty, staff, parents, counselors and other clients in the areas of admission and residency. As one of the first departments that students will interact with, the Admissions Office prides itself on its ability to welcome all incoming students with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Provide in-depth customer service to students, faculty, staff, parents and counselors via in person, over the phone and email.
- Respond to incoming phone calls and check work email consistently throughout the shift.
- Daily packaging and mailing of Admissions Office materials.
- Recording and entry of transcripts, test scores and reports into a student information system, and other clerical duties as assigned.
This is a part-time hourly position that will continue year round. M-F 4 hours/day position. There are Morning, Midday, and Afternoon shifts. The office hours are 8 AM
-5 PM M-Th and 8 AM
-4:30 PM
F.
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic computer skills
- Available during shift times for office coverage
- FERPA training within 3 months of hire
- Customer service experience
- Strong communication and composition skills
- Weber State knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Banner
- Reliable, detail oriented and self motivated
- Willingness to learn and respectfully receive correction
