Job SummaryThe Athletics Hourly Assistant position could include one of the following athletic administrative or equipment assistants:
- Office Assistant
- Gridiron Assistant
- Team Manager
- Game Management Assistant
** This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications- Seeking applicants who will be enrolled at WSU for the current school year and are professional and ethical.
- Able and willing to follow instructions and established policies.
- Strong people and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Federal Work Study Program Eligible (if you are unsure contact the Financial Aid office at 801‑626‑7569).
- Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks, especially for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Expressing or exchanging ideas. These activities involve conveying detailed or important instructions to other workers accurately or quickly.
- Ability to receive detailed information with or without assistance.
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or consistently to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing only occasionally if ever.
Visual Acuity RequirementsVisual acuity requires color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
ConditionsNone. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as typical office or administrative work).
