Job SummaryThis part‑time registrar position requires staff to support students, faculty and staff through a student‑facing help desk. The Success Coach assists with registration, graduation, records and related administrative needs through in‑person service, email, and phone. New hires receive extensive training and ongoing support from senior leads at the Registrar’s Solution Center.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate information regarding course registration, graduation deadlines, and record requests.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as name or address changes, official transcript issuance, and other record‑keeping requests.
- Resolve student, faculty and staff inquiries via in‑person, email and phone communication.
- Use campus technology systems including Google Suite and Microsoft Excel to manage data and communicate with stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive, helpful attitude and adapt to new procedures and technologies as needed.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
- Commitment to supporting higher education services.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Eligibility for the Federal Work Study Program.
Work involves largely sedentary activities. Employees may need to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, lift or move small items, and sit for most of the shift. The environment is a typical office setting with no significant exposure to adverse conditions.
Visual RequirementsGood visual acuity for detailed data preparation, screen work, and reading documentation. No special vision requirements beyond standard office conditions.
