Lead Automotive Service Technician is responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work on all makes and models.
Pay StructureTechnicians make between $60,000 and over $100,000 per year. This job is flat rate and you can double or triple your hourly wage depending on your knowledge speed, tools, and accuracy.
Responsibilities- Examines customer vehicles
- Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance to include drivability issues
- Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance to include air conditioning repairs
- Documents services performed
- Requests necessary parts
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
- 3+ years of automotive technician experience
- Working knowledge of shop equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
- A motivation to learn and succeed
- Valid in-state driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Preferred Experience:
- Preferred certification UTI, NASCAR or ASE certification
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
