Position Overview

The Product Manager – Respiratory Care will be responsible for the strategic direction, roadmap development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of respiratory care, sensing, and monitoring products.

This individual will serve as the voice of the customer and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to identify market opportunities, define product strategies, and deliver solutions that create value for customers and the business.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, technically minded, highly analytical, and passionate about understanding customer challenges and translating those insights into successful products and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
  • Own product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management for assigned product portfolios.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, industry trends, and unmet customer needs.
  • Develop business cases, growth strategies, and market entry plans for new and existing products.
  • Analyze competitive activity, market dynamics, and customer feedback to guide strategic decisions.
  • Support long‑term technology and product roadmap planning.
Voice of Customer & Market Insights
  • Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback and market intelligence.
  • Translate customer needs, clinical workflows, and market requirements into actionable product specifications.
  • Partner directly with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders to identify unmet needs and growth opportunities.
  • Drive customer‑focused innovation and continuous product improvement initiatives.
Product Development & Commercialization
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering teams throughout product development activities.
  • Define product requirements, specifications, and value propositions.
  • Support product launches, commercialization efforts, and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams on product positioning, messaging, and launch execution.
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for optimization and portfolio expansion.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Partner effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Lead cross‑functional discussions related to product priorities, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build alignment among diverse stakeholder groups and influence decision‑making without direct authority.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability across multiple functions.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Applications Engineering, Technical Marketing, or a related role.
  • Experience managing physical products within a technical, scientific, industrial, or regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and commercial teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
