Programs Coordinator At Treeo South Ogden

As a Programs Coordinator at TREEO South Ogden, you'll help create and coordinate a variety of activities and programs designed to support the body, mind, and spirit of our residents. You'll have the opportunity to bring creativity, energy, and your own ideas to the community while helping residents stay active, connected, and engaged.

What You'll Do

• Assist with developing and maintaining the community's programs and activities calendar.
• Help plan and execute events, entertainment, outings, and other resident activities.
• Keep program and activity information current in the community's app.
• Coordinate schedules for community transportation, including shopping trips, medical appointments, scenic outings, and destination trips.
• Help decorate and prepare the community for themed events and special occasions, as well as assist with cleanup.
• Develop activities that support residents' individual and group interests while staying within budget guidelines.
• Build relationships with local organizations and businesses
• Work collaboratively with the Connections team and other members of the community.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to interact with residents, families, coworkers, and community partners in a courteous, empathetic, and professional manner.
• Someone who is creative, organized, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.
• The ability to communicate effectively with individuals who are aging or may have dementia.
• Prior experience in programs, activities, recreation, or senior services is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to meet company requirements for driving community vehicles.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for driving company vehicles.
