Our recruiting firm is partnering with a leading global provider of water, hygiene, infection prevention, and operational solutions serving customers across food service, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial markets. We are seeking an Operations Planning Analyst to support field operations by coordinating service schedules, dispatching resources, and ensuring timely completion of customer service requests.

Job Description

As an Operations Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in coordinating service delivery activities and optimizing field service operations. You will manage high volumes of service requests, maintain technician schedules, and collaborate closely with field teams and leadership to ensure customer commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, review, and assign high-volume service requests and corporate account rollout requests.
  • Evaluate incoming service requests and adjust scheduling to ensure appropriate time allocation for each job.
  • Coordinate and schedule work orders (WOs) for Operations Market Specialists (OMS) and, when necessary, other field representatives.
  • Monitor work order activity and follow up with field teams to ensure service requests are opened and closed accurately and on time.
  • Dispatch service personnel efficiently while prioritizing customer needs and service-level commitments.
  • Develop and maintain technician schedules, making adjustments based on customer demand and operational requirements.
  • Partner with operations teams to reschedule work impacted by equipment availability, customer delays, or other field-related challenges.
  • Optimize technician utilization, productivity, availability, and accountability.
  • Track and follow up on overdue service requests to ensure timely completion and closure.
  • Collaborate with Operations Planning leadership to coordinate large-scale service rollouts and corporate account initiatives.
  • Work with area leadership to support operational growth objectives and customer service initiatives.
  • Partner with field teams to resolve scheduling challenges, improve service execution, and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Prioritize and manage service requests while balancing customer expectations and field resource availability.
  • Ensure required equipment, assets, and resources are available prior to scheduled service appointments.
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, dispatching, operations support, or a related field. Relevant military experience will also be considered.
  • Strong customer communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with data entry, data organization, and managing high volumes of information accurately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred
  • Associate degree, trade school certification, or additional post-secondary education.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Dispatch planning, dispatching, or field service operations experience.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in service-based industries such as food service, hospitality, housekeeping, laundry operations, pool and spa services, or related sectors.
  • Experience supporting technician scheduling, route planning, or service dispatch functions.
