Overview
B.H. Inc. is hiring a full-time Civil and Excavation Senior Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for earthwork, grading, and underground utility projects. The estimator will evaluate project plans and specifications, conduct site visits to understand conditions and limitations, and collaborate with team members to build comprehensive estimates.
Location and CultureThe position is located in either our North Salt Lake, Ogden, or Saint George office. B.H. Inc. offers an outstanding company culture and a team atmosphere.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $100,000-$140,000 per year (paid weekly). Benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with a match, and paid time off (PTO).
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or similar field, or equivalent construction experience.
- 5-10 years of experience as an estimator for earthwork, grading, or underground projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and owners.
- Ready to learn estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan and specification review.
- Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek, and Estimate (B2W).
