Natural Gas​/Wet & Dry Utilities Estimator

Position Overview

B.H. Inc. is hiring a full‑time Natural Gas/Wet & Dry Utilities Estimator. The role involves preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for natural gas and utility projects, conducting takeoffs and pricing for natural gas, grading, and underground utility tasks. The estimator evaluates project plans and specifications, visits project sites to understand conditions, and collaborates with team members to build comprehensive estimates.

Salary: $65,000–$100,000 per year, paid weekly. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with match, and paid time off.

The estimator will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate cost estimates; evaluating project plans and specifications; visiting sites for assessment; and collaborating with team members on comprehensive estimates.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent construction experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience as an estimator for earthwork, grading, or underground projects.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and owners.
• Willingness to learn estimating processes, including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, and plan and specification review.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek, and Estimate (B2W).
