Dental Assistant Instructor - Ogden, UT

Saturdays, 7:00 am–6:30 pm (breaks included; schedule may vary based on class availability).
Location
:
Ogden, UT 84403 (In‑Person).
Compensation
: $26–$28 /hr, depending on experience.

• Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques.
• Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols.
• Coach students during hands‑on lab practice.
• Provide performance feedback and skills assessments.
• Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards.
• Foster a supportive, structured learning environment.

Dental assistants (DA, RDA, or EFDA) who want to keep practicing during the week while stepping into a mentorship role on Saturdays and are ready to make an impact beyond the chair.

• 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience.
• Active Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience.
• Able to commute to the location.

• Prior teaching or mentoring experience.
• Familiarity with Dentrix.
• Leadership background.

• Structured curriculum – supported, not starting from scratch.
• Consistent Saturday schedule.
• Leadership role without leaving clinical practice.
