Neurosurgeon

About this role:

As a Neurological Surgeon part of the Neurosciences team at Intermountain Health, you will work with a large system-wide team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Neurosurgery is part of a larger Neurosciences team at McKay-Dee Hospital, including Neurohospitalists and outpatient Neurology providers, and will work alongside Traumatologists and Trauma Services APPs.

In this role, you can anticipate:

• Clinical and surgical cases at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah

• Eventual flexible clinic/OR schedule; anticipated to initially be 1.5-days/week in clinic and 2-days/week of OR surgical time
• General neurological surgery at a level II trauma center, with a mix of both cranial and spine cases

• Unrestricted neurosurgical call requirement; compensation offered for call requirement

What youll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in Neurosurgery
• Board certified in Neurological Surgery
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
