Cardiothoracic Surgeon

A locum tenens cardiothoracic surgeon is needed in Ogden, Utah to provide 24-hour call coverage from December 28 to January 3. The clinician will practice at a Level II trauma center, managing approximately 10-12 patients weekly with 3-5 consultations and 1-3 surgical cases. Support staff including an APP, MA, MOS, and RN are on-site to assist with coordinated care delivery.

• Performs approximately 80 cardiac procedures annually

Responsibilities

• Provide exclusive 24-hour call coverage
• Manage approximately 10-12 patients weekly
• Perform approximately 3-5 consultations for 7 days
• Perform approximately 1-3 surgeries per week, usually 1 cardiac and 2-3 thoracic cases
• Perform cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures as required
