Math Tutor

Looking for math tutors provide academic support to students in a variety of math subjects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed. Becoming a math tutor will require and provide additional training.

This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications

Completed Calculus I with a B+ or better, or equivalent course.

Preferred Qualifications

* Must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 in mathematics subjects

* Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Patience, reliability, and a passion for tutoring
