Computer Science Tutor; Davis Tutoring and Writing Center

Position: Computer Science Tutor (Davis Tutoring and Writing Center)
Tutor WSU students in Computer Science at the Davis Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on a drop-in basis. Availability for drop-in shifts is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques.

This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications

* Must be a WSU student in good academic standing.

* Faculty recommendation or endorsement.

* Must be able to tutor at the Davis Campus.

* Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.

* A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.

* Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Ability to tutor many different courses.
