Job Summary /Basic Function

Organize the zoology collections, identifying invertebrate and vertebrate specimens, photographing specimens, specimen preparation, entering data into spreadsheets, and uploading data to a digital repository.

Required Qualifications
  • Current full-time WSU student
  • 2.0 GPA or higher
Preferred Qualifications
  • Zoology Major
  • Invertebrate and/or vertebrate identification skills
  • Completed Diversity of Animals course
  • Completed at least one of the following courses:
    Entomology, Herpetology, Ichthyology, Mammalogy, or Ornithology
