Job Summary/Basic Function:
Planetarium assistants perform multiple functions in the planetarium. They present shows to visiting K-12 students, help with show production, create curriculum materials, and perform several other duties in connection with the outreach and education programs of the planetarium. The successful applicant will have taken (and performed well in!) Introduction to Astronomy.

• Present planetarium shows to visiting K-12 students.
• Assist with show production and create curriculum materials for outreach and education programs.
• Support the outreach activities of the planetarium as needed.

• Required Qualifications
• Must be a student at Weber State University.
• Must have taken (and performed well in!) Introduction to Astronomy.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in public speaking or speaking to groups preferred.
