Hourly Pay Rate: $14.50
Tutor WSU students in Chemistry at the Ogden Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on an individual appointment and/or drop-in basis. Availability for appointments is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Tutor students in Chemistry at individual appointments and drop-in sessions.
- Plan and deliver instruction tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons and student progress.
- Participate in training to improve tutoring techniques.
- Must be a WSU student.
- Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.
- A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
- Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to tutor many different courses.
