The Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing Department, at Weber State University, seeks innovative and enthusiastic faculty who have a passion for nursing and nursing education. This is a 12‑month tenure‑track faculty position.

Job Duties Teaching assignments are contingent upon qualifications and experience. Selected candidates will teach in the Associate Degree Nursing program. In addition, selected candidates may teach in a variety of modalities (face‑to‑face, online, lab, simulation, and/or clinical) and at various campus locations. All faculty are required to plan, implement, and elevate the existing curriculum.

Required Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing. Must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE‑accredited nursing program (or related/equivalent). Active, unencumbered state-of‑Utah or compact state registered nurse or advanced practice registered nurse license. Basic technology skills.

Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in nursing or related field. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to integrate technology in nursing education. Previous experience as a nurse educator. Teaching experience in higher education. Clinical nursing experience in related areas of teaching. Demonstrated scholarship activities. Authored publications in peer‑reviewed journals.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
