Location:
Weber State University – Ogden, UT - Hourly Pay Rate: $14.50
Looking for engineering tutors who support students in developing a strong understanding of engineering concepts, problem‑solving techniques, and analytical skills across various engineering disciplines. This role involves providing one‑on‑one and group tutoring sessions, assisting students with coursework, and promoting effective study strategies. Becoming a engineering tutor will require and provide additional training.
Required Qualifications- Completed the following engineering courses with a B+ or better, or better:
- ENGR 1000 (Intro to Engineering)
- ENGR 2010 (Statics)
- ENGR 2030 (Dynamics)
- ENGR 2300 (Thermodynamics)
- Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 in engineering subjects
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, reliable, and passionate about tutoring
