Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) Lab/Teaching assistants help in maintaining the labs used for student training in the department and assist with training students in the courses they have already finished. They may assist with the preparation of media and reagents used in the labs, help with the maintenance of lab equipment, and help the instructor train students by reviewing course information and teaching lab skills.
- This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Applicants must be current MLS students who have been accepted to the MLS program. Students usually work 5-20 hours per week.
- 1 to 2 semesters of MLS laboratory sections completed.
- Experience working with various types of lab equipment and analyzers.
