Assistant Toddler Teacher/Caregiver (Ages 18 to 36 months) – Full-Time

Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you enjoy helping toddlers learn, grow, and reach important developmental milestones? We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher/Caregiver to join our early childhood education team.

This full-time position works alongside an experienced Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for up to 14 children ages 18–36 Months.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and their families.
  • Engage children in play-based learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day.
  • Feed children and encourage healthy eating habits.
  • Complete daily charts and documentation, including meals, diapering, toileting, and activities.
  • Change diapers and support children through potty training with patience and encouragement.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to provide exceptional care and education.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
  • A genuine love for working with toddlers.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Reliable, dependable, and a team player.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements for employment in a child care center.
