Duties Include:
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Responsible for calibrating electronic/mechanical equipment including pressure gauges, transducers (pressure, voltage and current), loadcells, temperature readouts, flowmeters, accelerometers, vibration meters, data acquisition, etc.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation, data systems and test cells issues.
- Support senior engineers in performing tasks such as design, analysis, testing, equipment setup and data reduction to support department activities.
- Responsible for coordinating and follow-up of engineering assignments through communication with other concerned personnel.
- Provide general assistance in preparing reports, proposals, drawings, specifications, and/or other engineering documents by compiling, preparing or providing basic technical data.
- Assist in developing general engineering procedures and specifications relevant to engineering assignments.
- Participate in preparing engineering proposals by compiling or providing technical data, drawings, and the like and prepare and submit various reports related to the assignment.
- Training of new personnel in instrumentation and calibration functions.
- Perform other engineering tasks within the department assigned by the Team Leader.
M-F 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
:
U.S. or Foreign Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering (or a related Field)
2 years of applied engineering experience focused on aerospace gas turbine engines.
2 years of experience in calibration, design analysis and equipment setup for gas turbine engine manufacturing
