The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our team. The qualified candidate will have primary responsibility for working in a lean manufacturing cell supporting, verifying and troubleshooting instrumentation used in testing and manufacturing environments.

This position also will include:

Evaluate measurement requirements and support selection of appropriate instrumentation based on accuracy, range and application needs.

Develop, improve, and review calibration processes and procedures.

Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing and test engineering teams on instrumentation and measurement related topics.

Follow direction and priorities established by supervisor.

Qualifications

Equivalent of an associate’s degree and 2–5 years of experience in metrology or calibration, with advanced coursework preferred.
Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and signal issues (wiring, noise, grounding, scaling, etc.).
Experience with diverse instrumentation measuring physical and electrical parameters across multiple applications (force, flow, pressure, temperature, voltage, current, vibration, etc.).
Experience developing, following or improving calibration processes.
Experience with data acquisition interfaces/software and programming (VBA, Python, LabVIEW or similar).
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance, if needed, and comply with security investigation procedures.
