The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our team. The qualified candidate will have primary responsibility for working in a lean manufacturing cell supporting, verifying and troubleshooting instrumentation used in testing and manufacturing environments.

This position also will include:

  • Evaluate measurement requirements and support selection of appropriate instrumentation based on accuracy, range and application needs.
  • Develop, improve, and review calibration processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing and test engineering teams on instrumentation and measurement related topics.
  • Follow direction and priorities established by supervisor.
  • Qualifications

    • Equivalent of an associate’s degree and 2–5 years of experience in metrology or calibration, with advanced coursework preferred.
    • Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and signal issues (wiring, noise, grounding, scaling, etc.).
    • Experience with diverse instrumentation measuring physical and electrical parameters across multiple applications (force, flow, pressure, temperature, voltage, current, vibration, etc.).
    • Experience developing, following or improving calibration processes.
    • Experience with data acquisition interfaces/software and programming (VBA, Python, LabVIEW or similar).
    • U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance, if needed, and comply with security investigation procedures.
