Logistics Health Safety and Sustainability Engineer

Position Name

We are looking for an experienced HSE&S Engineer to lead and enhance Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability programs across our U.S. cross-dock operations. This role is primarily based in Ogden, UT
, with support for sites in Indiana and Mississippi
. As a key partner to operations, leadership, and logistics providers, you will drive risk reduction, compliance, and a strong safety culture across multiple locations.

• Lead HSE&S program implementation across multi-site warehouse operations.

• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.

• Support and lead incident investigations
  , ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Drive hazard identification, near-miss reporting
  , and proactive safety initiatives.

• Oversee contractor safety performance and enforce site safety requirements.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives (energy, waste, emissions, water).

• Track, analyze, and report HSE&S KPIs and trends
  .

• Support ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 audits and regulatory inspections.

• Lead emergency preparedness programs
  , drills, and response coordination.

• Coach and influence leaders and employees to strengthen safety culture and behaviors
  .

• Manage and follow up on workers’ compensation claims
  .

• Partner with operations to ensure alignment with HSE&S logistics standards
  .

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field).

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance standards
  .

• Experience with
  ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems and audits
  .

• Proven background in risk management, incident investigation, and operational safety
  .

• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments
  .

• Proficiency in HSE reporting tools and Microsoft applications
  .

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  .

• Ability to work across multi-site, cross-functional, and remote teams
  .

• Commitment to safety excellence, ethics, and continuous improvement
  .

• BATF&E knowledge is a plus.
