Position: Electrical Engineer (Level 2)
Description:

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The Electrical Engineer will perform as an integral member of the on-site Engineering Support Group (ESG) team with responsibility to support the development of F-16 Organic Modification programs for the United States Air Force and to update the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Engineering databases and drawings.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities include:

* Researching harness and MIDAS engineering for the electrical impacts to F-16 aircraft using Lockheed Martin's engineering databases (Joint Electrical Design Installation (JEDI), ACE Database (SAP - Business Objects), Asset Design Management System (ADMS), Parts Warehouse, Parts Classification & Management System (PCM), etc.) to determine aircraft effectivity and current engineering configuration for applicable aircraft and MIDAS diagrams.

* Generating harness Electrical Source Data (ESD) including Wire List (WL), Parts List (PL) and Reference Designator List (RDL) change information.

* Developing MIDAS Electrical Source Data (ESD) including Map, Wiring, Block and Schematic diagram redline information using CADAM Computer Drafting (CCD) Graphics.

* Creating Organic Change Notices (OCNs) using Asset Design Management System (ADMS) and engineering change graphics using CATIA V5 and CCD Graphics.

* Limited domestic travel in support of F-16 aircraft Operational Use Evaluation (OUE), Trial Verification Installation (TVI) and Kit Proof (KP) events which typically last for up to 2 weeks at a time

* Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

* This position is primarily on-site with limited telework available

Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
-or- 4 years equivalent experience

* Experience using and/or updating electrical wiring diagrams

Desired

Skills:

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

* Experience engineering aircraft harnesses

* Experience working with engineering change documentation

* F-16 aircraft engineering and electrical maintenance experience

* Electrical engineering experience on commercial or military aircraft

* Familiarity with military aircraft organizational maintenance manuals (Wiring Data, Fault Isolation, General System)

* Working knowledge of aircraft Systems/Sub-systems (MIDAS)

* Ability to interpre engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, and military/vendor specifications

* CATIA v5 experience or equivalent design software

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
