Position: Schedule Analyst
Overview

Responsibilities
  • Review and develop Integrated Master Schedules, includes the review, development and maintenance of Schedule Basis Documents to accompany Integrated Master Schedules
  • Help identify: opportunities to condense and simplify schedule detail, methods for development of a critical path, opportunities for analysis to demonstrate schedule robustness and ways to stress test schedules
  • Help generate summary views for presentations
  • Perform schedule risk assessments and provide input into methods for effective incorporation of risks into a schedule; perform analysis of actual versus baseline and estimated duration
  • Evaluate schedule progress against the plan and evaluate the contractor's written reports and critical path analysis
  • Daily interface with government personnel and prime contractors
  • Responsibilities may also include schedule estimating, substantiation of confidence level generation, schedule/prediction analysis, performance measurement (earned value) and project forecasting
Skills Required

Tecolote Research is seeking organized, detailed-oriented individuals with excellent customer-oriented communication and quantitative skills to support programs in a Schedule Analyst role.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences
  • Five (5) equivalent years of experience in schedule development, schedule risk assessments, schedule health analysis, integration and management, and schedule basis documentation
  • Three (3) years of experience with duties/assignments specifically in support of defense programs
  • Three (3) years proficiency in Microsoft Project; MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in performing program system-level schedule analyses and oversight; generating schedule assessments; and preparing reports/presentations
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal and presentation skills are required in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of: schedule management best practices such as critical path methodology, schedule quality, and schedule execution metrics;
    Department of Defense acquisition project scheduling, schedule management, scheduling, and earned-value management guidelines
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team/collaborative environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance;
    Active TS Clearance is a plus
Education

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
