The Nuclear Hardness and Survivability  NH&S  Analyst will be supporting the analysis of flight vehicles and their ability to withstand nuclear effects in the Strategic Missiles Business Line  This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program  The position requires some existing knowledge is this area as well as a strong interest in additional on the job learning

Responsibilities

+ Perform radiation hardening analysis for component  WCCA, PBO, SGEMP, MCNP etc  

+ Conduct shielding effectiveness analysis for enclosures

+ Develop testing and qualification plans for systems

+ Develop test procedures, oversee tests and write test reports

+ Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Science or related technical field

+ 5 years' experience with Nuclear Effects Analysis

+ Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of Microsoft Office products  Word, Excel and PowerPoint  to document analysis methodology and results

+ Excellent communication skills are required, as position requires the description/documentation of analysis techniques and results using a variety of tools  PowerPoint, Word

+ Active security clearance required, eligibility for SAP clearance is required

+ Up to 10% of travel may be required

* Level III: $115,800   $176,200

* Level IV: $146,500   $224,500

+ Hill AFB, UT

* Level III: $101,000   $153,600

* Level IV: $128,200   $196,400
