A Technical Designer is needed to support the Minuteman program out of Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) located in Ogden, UT. This position will be responsible for performing design, drafting, and configuration management tasks associated with Engineering Data. Tasks include creating new or revising existing drawings, 3D computer aided design (CAD) modeling, and configuration management of drawings. The Technical Designer will meet regularly with program managers and leads to coordinate workload and priorities.

• Design, develop, and maintain engineering drawings
• Prepare design layouts and modify existing designs
• Investigate and resolve moderately complex manufacturing or engineering related issues
• Verify accuracy of engineering data produced by others
• Revise and maintain standard operating procedures for technical design
• 3D model existing equipment

• Assembly Process
• NX

• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with Computer Aided Design tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, & NX)
• Experience in Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, supplier data)

• Previous experience in Design Engineering
• Experience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi‑discipline teams
• Experience with identifying required material types for parts and components
• Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test)

Minimum Pay Rate: $30

Maximum Pay Rate: $35
