Job SummarySAC is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple projects from kickoff through completion, combining project leadership, documentation control, procurement coordination, stakeholder communication, and schedule/deliverable management. This role requires a highly organized, proactive professional who can coordinate across engineering, fabrication, purchasing, vendors, customers, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and milestones in support of customer requirements and SAC business objectives.
- Track, communicate, and manage project deliverables, including engineering design submittals, documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and client notifications.
- Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, purchasing, vendors, and customers to monitor deliverable status, material procurement, shipment status, and overall project progress.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including scope creep, budget changes, schedule impacts, and constructability concerns.
- Communicate budget, forecast, schedule, scope, and project status changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage relationships with customers and key internal and external stakeholders to support project execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide technical coordination and support to address design, field, constructability, and project execution issues.
- Visit project sites as needed to observe field conditions, evaluate constraints, support issue resolution, and strengthen project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Project management experience in a production, fabrication, construction, or industrial environment preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and with external customers, vendors, and partners.
- Strong organizational, time-management, documentation, and follow-through skills.
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with the confidence to act independently when appropriate.
- Ability to understand and communicate construction documents, drawings, project scopes, and technical requirements.
- Familiarity with construction, project management, document control, and collaboration software systems.
