Electrical Engineer
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting future payload systems. The Engineer will assist the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) future payload team as they support acquisition of new payload suites to support the ICBM systems directorate.
Job responsibilities include:
- Leading engineering tasks and projects, system and subsystem design reviews, TIMs (Technical Interchange Meetings), Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), and other related tasks.
- Assisting the Air Force Program Office with requirements development, acquisitions documentation and program transition.
- Integrating ICBM program risks, schedules and milestones.
- Applying experience or education to develop briefings, program plans, spreadsheets, and performance measures for technical programs in reaction to short suspense demands with minimal input from managers or customers.
- Conducting integrated engineering-level assessments, production, verification, validation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution processes over the life cycle of the ICBM program to identify and mitigate design, digital models, production, and test deficiencies that could impact mission assurance.
- Conducting reliability analysis, assessments, projects and tasks and coordinating with industry on designs and tests.
Required Education, Experience, &
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience.
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Master's degree with 2+ years experience.
- DoD Secret Clearance. Must be eligible for TS/SCI/SAP.
Preferred Education, Experience, &
Skills:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related area.
- Familiarity with military technology, specifically radar or sensor packages, interface control documents, and technical data.
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) commensurate with expected mid to senior level civilian and military participants from various US Government agencies.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative and organize daily tasks with minimal or no supervision.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Model Based System Engineering tools and Digital Engineering Model creation.
- Production and manufacturing experience.
- Highly Prefer Top Secret Clearance.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922.
