Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete ownership of the Asset Based Loan portfolio
- Manage a team of experienced Relationship Managers.
- Drive and challenge Relationship Managers on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their account management strategies and adherence to time lines and annual reviews and validation of Risk Ratings.
- Assist Relationship Managers in resolving complex problem loan situations.
- Hire, train and administer performance and salary reviews for all Relationship Managers.
- Authorize Loan Advances.
- Ensure that legal and loan file documentation is current, accurate and in good order.
- Reports performance of the portfolio to senior management.
- Facilitates a credit safe environment conducive to customer satisfaction and retention.
- Continuous improvement of the ABL product.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Continually demonstrates an ability to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Demonstrate outstanding judgment and flexibility.
- Identify and reacts to critical issues in a timely manner and keeping senior management informed.
- Consistently demonstrate ability to successfully move into problem-solving mode.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure successful execution of the bank's strategic goals.
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or the equivalent industry experience.
- 10 + years business management experience.
- 7 + years of experience in Asset Based Lending (ABL) and Factoring.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed and fast paced environment.
- Superior skills with the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
- Confidence, tact, and a influential manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals ranging from executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
