Key Responsibilities Collaborates with healthcare providers to identify and document principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures Conducts concurrent and retrospective reviews of medical records and documents findings in the EHR tracking system Provides education to providers on documentation practices and serves as a mentor to co-workers
Required Qualifications Current Oregon RN License CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist) or CDIP (Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner) Minimum of five (5) years of recent CDIS experience As required by licensure for RN; BSN preferred Proficient use of EPIC and 3M 360 Encompass software programs preferred
