Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at Ogden Regional Medical Center, you will perform professional duties involving a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. You will exercise independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in providing high quality patient‑centered care.

• Provide patients with the correct procedure and excellent quality images to assist the physician in diagnosis.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department, as well as portable exams and C‑arm procedures throughout the hospital.
• Schedule, plan, implement, and complete requests for service while maintaining a friendly and compassionate environment.
• Maintain knowledge of growth and development and an understanding of the range of treatment needed for patient groups.
• Stay up to date with current techniques and procedures.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT‑R) Radiography must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RT‑Pract) Radiology Practical Technician, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
