Pharmacy Technician Per Diem

Northern Utah Rehabilitation Hospital is a Joint Commission‑accredited facility in South Ogden, Utah dedicated to specialized inpatient rehabilitation for patients in the Northern Utah area.

We are seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to provide medication assistance on weekday and weekend PRN schedules.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• National certification (PTCB) preferred.

• Ability to utilize concepts of age/developmental stages in interactions with patients and families.

• Retrieve, count, and measure drugs.
• Assist pharmacist in price‑checking and restocking of drugs.
• Access, input, and retrieve prescription information from computer.
• Refer physicians’ calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.
• Integrate the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
