South Ogden City is accepting applications for Part-Time Firefighter/AEMT.
Firefighters provide a variety of entry-level firefighting duties related to protection of life and property by performing firefighting, emergency medical aid, and fire prevention/education duties. This position also performs minor maintenance efforts with firefighting and medical equipment, apparatus, and facilities.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent,
- An AEMT, Hazmat Awareness and Operations, Firefighter I and II Cert,
- One year of experience,
- And a valid driver's license.
- Required to work 96 hours a month on B-shift, Day 1.
The starting salary is $19.70 to $25.93 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
