Position Summary
The HR Administrator (non-exempt salaried role) supports day-to-day Human Resources operations at Parker Aerospace by providing high-quality administrative and coordination support across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate HR records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with Parker policies, employment regulations, and company values. The HR Administrator serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while contributing to a safe, ethical, and high-performance workplace.
Essential Functions:
HR Administration & Compliance
* Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files in accordance with Parker policies and legal requirements
* Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, job changes, transfers, and terminations
* Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as internal audits and reporting requirements
* Ensure HR processes align with Parker's ethics, safety, and operational excellence standards
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
* Assist with job requisitions, postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
* Coordinate onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and new hire documentation
* Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to ensure a positive and consistent candidate and employee experience
Employee Support & HR Services
* Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR questions related to policies, benefits, and processes
* Support attendance, timekeeping, and leave administration in a manufacturing or plant environment
* Assist with employee communications, HR initiatives, and engagement activities
Benefits & Payroll Coordination
* Support benefits enrollment, life event changes, and open enrollment activities
* Coordinate with payroll to ensure employee data accuracy and timely processing
* Assist employees with basic benefits and payroll inquiries, escalating issues as needed
General HR Support
* Support training coordination and maintain training and compliance records
* Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Participate in special HR projects that support Parker's Win Strategy and operational goals
Qualifications:
* College level coursework, professional Human Resources seminars or Human Resources program certificate
* Bachelor degree preferred
* 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with HR systems
* Experience with HRIS systems such as People Soft a plus
