Job SummaryAt Better Being, we believe our people are our greatest competitive advantage. We're looking for a Total Rewards Analyst who is hands-on with data. Someone comfortable building pivot tables, writing Excel formulas, and putting together Power BI dashboards from HRIS data — to partner closely with the Director of Total Rewards and turn workforce and compensation data into clear, actionable recommendations.
This highly visible role influences decisions across the organization by transforming data on pay, benefits, and workforce trends into insights leaders can act on. This role focuses on analysis and reporting within our existing tools and platforms (Excel, Power BI, Workday). It is not a data engineering role, and it does not involve building data pipelines, warehouses, or custom software.
If you're naturally curious, enjoy solving problems through data, and want to build your expertise in People Analytics and Total Rewards, we'd love to meet you.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI and Excel that give leadership visibility into compensation effectiveness, benefits program performance, and workforce trends. Support compensation analysis, market pricing, pay equity reviews, and rewards program effectiveness using tools such as pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP, Power Query, and Power BI data modeling. Analyze workforce trends including turnover, retention, hiring, promotions, and organizational effectiveness, and translate findings into recommendations for business leaders.
Partner with the Total Rewards team to analyze benefits utilization, enrollment trends, plan performance, and employee participation metrics. Deliver timely, customized analyses that support business leaders and People Team initiatives. Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes through technology and AI-enabled tools. Assist with annual benefits planning, forecasting, and budget management by providing data analysis and reporting. Support 401(k) plan administration and annual audit activities, including data collection, reconciliation, testing support, vendor coordination, and documentation.
Develop and maintain reporting related to healthcare costs, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, leave programs, and other benefit offerings. Assist in creating and maintaining accurate HR and benefits records for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes. Support data governance, confidentiality, and security protocols related to employee, compensation, and benefits information. Support and participate in company, department, and safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities.
