Database Vulnerability Analyst; Senior

• Serve as a technical specialist for database assets (e.g., Oracle, SQL, MySQL, DB2) on NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and isolated networks
• Review, identify, and report problems with the installation and operation of database instances and potential security vulnerabilities
• Identify, monitor, analyze, and report on the status of database vulnerabilities, escalating high-risk issues
• Assess, audit, and validate compliance with Database Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Determine the impact and risk of change requests and participate in Change Advisory Board meetings
• Recommend security countermeasures to mitigate identified database risks
• Provide recommendations for vulnerability analysis, deficiency resolution, and implementation to DISA customers and Mission Partners

• Education:
  
  Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
• Certification:
  Current DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification
• Experience:
  • Five or more years of relevant/recent experience with Oracle, SQL, MySQL, or DB2 and cybersecurity
  • Three or more years of relevant/recent experience with Microsoft Office products
