The User Services Specialist will provide high quality customer service to the campus community by encouraging, facilitating, and monitoring the circulation and usage of the Library’s collections and spaces.
Oversee building security and safety issues and manage building facility issues during acting supervisor shifts.
Provide patron assistance at the service desk.
Supervise student assistants and assist with student training development.
Assist with shared department service responsibilities, stacks projects, and inventory processes.
Required Qualifications- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- One (1) year related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of proficiency using computer systems and standard office software tools (email, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated high-quality customer service experience
- A valid Utah driver’s license is a condition of employment
- Experience supervising others
- Experience working at a library or at a higher education institution
