Position Summary

The Junior SAP ABAP Developer will design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions to meet business requirements across the SAP landscape. Delivering enhancements, integrations, reports, and forms that adhere to development standards, they will troubleshoot and resolve defects and collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, including support for testing, deployments, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
  • Lead or co‑lead complex and/or global digital and IT project tasks, meeting deadlines and providing guidance to project resources.
  • Perform system analysis, interpret data to identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new technologies and services, communicating status and project closure to stakeholders.
  • Act as the point of contact for most communications and expectations with third‑party IT and service vendors.
  • Manage own priorities and mentor team members.
  • Deliver multiple solutions while managing conflicting priorities and resources.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and cross‑training with team members.
  • Encourage team members to provide feedback and ideas for quality solutions.
  • Provide after‑hours technical support as needed.
  • Develop and enhance SAP Smart Forms, SAPscript, and/or Adobe Forms (ADS) based on functional specifications.
  • Support form layout changes, branding updates, language variants, and output requirements; create and maintain ABAP objects for forms and output.
  • Develop ABAP solutions from functional requirements provided by functional consultants.
  • Assist with configuration‑related investigations alongside functional/technical consultants.
  • Produce technical documentation and support functional documentation as required.
  • Support unit testing, defect fixing, and assist in UAT and deployment activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or international equivalent).
  • 4+ years of related IT experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability.
  • Experience leading teams and managing projects effectively.
  • 1–2 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Exposure to SAP Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms (desirable).
  • Understanding of SAP basics: development lifecycle, transports, debugging, and basic performance considerations.
  • Ability to read and interpret functional specifications and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a client‑facing environment.
  • Potential international travel depending on project need.
Compensation
  • Pay Range: $88,000 to $146,400 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
