Digital Architect of the Human Interface
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Experience, this role shapes and builds the next generation of SUSE’s digital interface, including dynamic, personalized content and AI-powered interaction models.
Responsibilities- Lead the design of next‑generation digital interfaces where users interact with autonomous AI agents.
- Create high‑fidelity interactive prototypes that demonstrate real‑world value and allow customers to experience solutions before purchase.
- Turn complex technical concepts into intuitive stories through data storytelling and visual intelligence.
- Partner with the UX Governance Lead to identify and resolve critical digital friction points, optimizing conversion velocity.
- Collaborate with Brand, Product, and IT to maintain a unified “One SUSE” design language across all touchpoints.
- Serve as an internal design consultant, establishing standards for the SUSE digital design system, including accessibility, mobile‑first responsiveness, and performance‑centric design.
- 8–10+ years of experience in UX/Product Design or HCI, preferably within a high‑growth SaaS or infrastructure technology company.
- Proven portfolio that showcases complex user journey orchestration.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe, Figma, interactive prototyping tools, and modern design platforms.
- Technical fluency with cloud‑native architectures, APIs, and data structures to inform interface design.
- Strong human‑centered design thinking and ability to translate behavioral data into design iterations.

Deliver visually compelling web experiences and a universal design system. - Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen (Advanced):
Align design strategy with revenue targets and understand the impact of UI friction on CAC. - Analytical Reasoning (Advanced):
Use behavioral data such as heatmaps, scroll depth, and A/B testing to drive design improvement. - Execution (Advanced):
Ensure a seamless design‑to‑development handoff and preserve creative intent during implementation. - Self‑Awareness (Advanced):
Model SUSE values of Choice, Innovation, Trust, and Community in every digital journey.
- AI Interaction Satisfaction:
User sentiment scores regarding interactions with AI‑driven interfaces. - Dynamic and Personalized Web Experiences:
Adoption of innovative interaction patterns that improve content discovery. - Design System Adoption:
Percentage of web and product properties correctly using the master component library. - Journey Friction Reduction:
Decrease in drop‑off rates during the marketing‑to‑trial transition.
Based in the United States (preferring the Utah/Intermountain hub).
CompensationUS base salary range: $140,000 – $155,000, plus a corporate bonus plan, paid quarterly, and an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k), Employee Assistance Programme, and generous paid time off.
