The Windows Vulnerability Analyst serves as a technical specialist for operating system assets with a focus on the Windows environment, identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and isolated/cloud environments.

• Serve as an OS technical specialist focused on Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Review, identify, and report problems with the installation and operations of OS assets and potential security vulnerabilities.
• Identify, monitor, analyze, and report on the status of all OS vulnerabilities (including Windows, Unix, Mainframe, etc.).
• Assess, audit, and validate compliance with OS SRGs and STIGs.
• Determine the impact and risk of submitted change requests and participate in meetings to provide cyber oversight for OS changes.
• Recommend security countermeasures to mitigate identified risks.
• Provide recommendations for OS vulnerability analysis, guidance, and deficiency resolution to DISA customers and Mission Partners.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Certification: Current DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification.
• Experience:
  • Five or more years of relevant/recent experience with Microsoft Windows Server, .NET Framework, IIS, and cybersecurity.
  • Three or more years of relevant/recent experience with Microsoft Office products.
