- Job Summary/Basic Function: A position managing AV system processes for campus classrooms and division‑managed spaces; this could include configuring, programming, installing equipment, and troubleshooting system issues across campus locations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Work with FM and project managers to implement technology, aid in purchasing hardware, build quotes, ensure funding, lead projects, report progress, work primarily on Ogden campus with possible travel to other campuses, no work from home.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology field (computer science, IS&T, networks, engineering, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extron Control Professional certification within first year of hire.
- 2 years experience installing/troubleshooting Audio Visual (AV) media systems, technology equipment and additional components.
- 2 years AV system design and configuration experience with emphasis on classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, video conference rooms, etc.
- 1 year Project management experience/knowledge for AV systems.
- Customer Service/Focus, Problem Solving, Technical Learning, Instructing.
- Avixa Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or CTS‑D.
- Extron Control Professional, Crestron SIMPL Programming, Q‑SYS Control.
- Basic understanding of IP networking.
- Basic programming knowledge for AV or enterprise systems (Python, SQL).
- Basic understanding of Microsoft AD, Group Policies, Windows, Mac OS.
- Experience with project management tools (Asana) and storage/password management systems (Box, Google Drive, Bitwarden).

Physical and ADA Requirements- Physical activity includes ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, use of feet, legs, hands and arms; bending; lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly; movement across work sites.
- Visual acuity requirements: close visual acuity to inspect small defects, transcribing, reading, use of computer terminal.

Annual Salary: Starts at $44,000 and may increase based on qualifications.
