Family Law Attorney

Overview

Morrison Law Group is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling family law matters and feel confident managing cases independently while collaborating with the firm’s attorneys as needed. This role is well-suited for someone who values client advocacy, clear and compassionate communication, and thoughtful legal strategy, all within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

• Represent clients in family law cases, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client advocacy.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive legal strategies and solutions.
• Maintain open and empathetic communication with clients, providing updates and guidance.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements that align with clients  best interests.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trials with confidence and professionalism.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Utah Bar (or eligible for admission).
• Minimum 2 years of experience practicing family law.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Professional, empathetic, and client-centered approach.

$100,000 - $120,000 yearly
