What you’ll be working on
  • Oversee daily operations of the Community Donation Center (CDC) to make Savers the donation center of choice.
  • Uphold company standards, provide fast and friendly donor service.
  • Promote brand awareness, build relationships with local nonprofits.
  • Manage CDC Ambassadors, plan staffing, train, coach, and provide feedback.
Donation Center Operations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming CDC; manage donation flow and storage.
  • Coordinate with Production Manager/Store Manager for donation transfer to production.
  • Engage customers and donors to promote Savers brand.
  • Accurately weigh, classify, and account for donations.
  • Track donation goals and use scheduler for Ambassador coverage.
Leadership and Development
  • Lead CDC Ambassadors – hire, train, coach.
  • Develop high‑potential team members for future roles.
  • Maintain a respectful, values‑driven workplace and adhere to policies.
Donor Service
  • Deliver a positive donor experience through training and coaching.
  • Continuously assess donor areas and set standards for work pace.
  • Encourage donor feedback, respond to inquiries, and address complaints.
  • Promote community partnerships and grassroots promotional events.
What you have
  • Excellent presentation, mathematical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and reason independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience
  • High School diploma; post‑secondary degree or diploma preferred.
  • Experience managing people preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling racks up to 250 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist repeatedly; occasional kneeling.
  • Read and understand written & electronic documents, verbal communication.
  • Occasional exposure to machinery, solvents, dust, temperature fluctuations.
  • Adjust work schedule for nights, weekends, holidays.
FLSA:
Non‑Exempt Travel
  • Periodic travel to meetings or other stores for business purposes.
