Job Details:
In this role you will be?responsible for the Manufacturing Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Material Inspection, Test Lab, Metrology, and Customer Relations functions.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Sets the quality culture and strategies for the facility.
- Oversees and engages in problem solving efforts, understanding effects of decisions on other areas of the facility.
- Takes ownership to pursue systemic solutions and root causes in eliminating quality concerns.
- Knows and understands the difference between judgmental, informational and source inspection and ensures they are applied appropriately.
- Sets strategies for support systems process improvements.
- Provides direction to team members based on general policies and management guidance.
- Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect reporting organizational units.
- Accomplishes results with supervisors, team members, and/or through experienced salaried employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations.
- Becomes actively involved in daily operations to meet schedules or to resolve complex/systemic challenges.
- Ensures work/projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Approves expenditures within budget policies and guidelines.
- Provides resources and removes obstacles and barriers.
- Work closely with production, technical support, and design teams.
- Ability to openly and effectively communicate about continuous improvement, build credibility through relationships, and provide leadership to the program.
- Excellent speaking-listening-writing and attention to detail.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Planning and organizational skills, such as time and resource allocation.
- Maintains a professional persona reflective of a leader in the organization
- Bachelor's Degree Previous experience 5 years
