Overview
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Manager
2. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. Relocation assistance may be available. The role requires a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval. Travel up to 10% of the time is required.
- Lead a matrixed team in advanced Program Planning, Analytics & Metrics, Proposals, Affordability and Risk & Opportunity Management.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments, integrated master schedule reviews, and schedule recovery modeling.
- Plan major program events, develop program Tableau dashboards, and perform various program analyses.
- Manage monthly reporting, risk and opportunity management, and affordability programs.
- Oversee award fee and proposal submissions.
- Interact extensively with internal and external customers, presenting program updates and leading cost, schedule, and technical performance reviews.
- Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, and financial reporting.
- Act as primary customer contact for program activities.
- Set milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, resolving program issues through resource allocation.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience; or Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience; or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
- Demonstrated track record in project management, execution, and closeout.
- Firm understanding and application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
- Firm understanding and application of Active Risk Management for portfolios >$50M factored risk.
- Executive presence and comfort in communications at the executive level.
- At least 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
- 3 years of experience with EVMS principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
- Program Management experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- PMP Certificate.
- Current Program Access Request (PAR) experience managing people.
- Primary level salary range: $ - $.
- Work schedule:
