This position will work closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to ensure EHS&S standards and methodologies are communicated and targeted goals are achieved. The position reports to the Regional EHSS Director and partners closely with operational leaders. It will be based out of Nampa (e.g., Boise) or Ogden (e.g., SLC) and requires 60-75% travel.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide a consistent presence within the facilities, identify areas of improvement, and present solutions that provide sustainable value for growth.
  • Partner with the Area General Manager to ensure ownership by all team members at each site.
  • Lead sites’ EHS professionals and site managers to ensure full integration into IPG EHS standards and expectations.
  • Actively participate on the operational team in operating plans, strategic planning, EHS&S initiatives, internal auditing, management systems, compliance initiatives, and governmental/regulatory reporting.
  • Supervise a team of site‑based EHS&S professionals across the region.
  • Assist with onboarding new EHS professionals and operational managers across the region as needed.
  • Oversee incident investigations, develop corrective plans, and follow‑up actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Advise and assist local management in implementing, managing, and auditing an innovative EHS Management System in a manufacturing and construction setting.
  • Monitor regional EHS metrics and trends, compile reports, share insights, and take action to shift the safety culture from rules and compliance to a behavior‑driven value.
  • Manage workers’ compensation, general liability, and automotive liability cases; manage claims with medical teams and coordinate with insurance providers and legal counsel.
  • Develop a best‑practice sharing and learning culture with emphasis on implementation across the region.
  • Establish regional and/or site priorities and resource strategies with the Regional EHSS Director to identify support as needed.
  • Drive environmental compliance across the region and support operational sustainability project roll‑outs and implementation.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years in EHS and/or manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills to reach across functional departments and facilitate seamless integration.
  • Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 regulations.
  • Strong project and process management skills, with experience managing major projects and/or change initiatives.
  • Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to navigate and research regulatory agency and industry web content.
  • Nationally recognized safety and health certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH).
  • Experience managing a team of direct and/or indirect reports.
